The Boston Wetlands Ordinance gives the City greater authority to protect its wetlands, related water resources and adjoining land areas by expanding protections beyond those identified in the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act. The Boston Conservation Commission has opened a public comment period to collect feedback on the draft Phase III regulations now through December 15, 2025.
