For five years, the Pier 5 Association has hosted Earth Celebration Day events on the Boardwalk at Pier 5 to inform the public about Pier 5. Each event had over 300 in attendance and over 20 presenters including FEMA, NOAA.

2004 Letter – Pier 5 is victim to anybody who has enough money to build whatever they want without appropriate analysis/studies and feedback from concerned parties.
